  Antipolo, one of the cities in Rizal is one of the most visited place because it comprises many historical but beautiful places that is really worth the travel for.

Many tourists and devotees are visiting the Church in Antipolo especially during the Pilgrimage Season which is during the month of May. That is why Antipolo is best-known as the Pilgrimage City of the Philippines. Because Antipolo is elevated many tourists enjoy the air-cooled place and the exqisite view of Metro Manila.

_ SUMAKAH FESTIVAL

Sumakah festival is an acronym for Suman, Mangga, Kasoy and Hamaka which is used before as a means of transportation. The festival is created to promote these specialty products of Antiipolo. The festival is celebrated every 1st of May. The festival organizes different activities and one of which is the  Alay Lakad. The Alay Lakad is the opening of the Festival. There are also beauty pageants, street  dancing and other different performances from some residents of Antipolo.The festival is celevrated during the 1st of May. It is also organized to recognize the Black Nazarene that is being brought to Antipolo Cathedral. The festival is giving entertainment to people and they are being more familiar to the city.

 

TIPULO FESTIVAL

Tipulo Festival is celebrated during the month of May. This is the same with the "SUMAKAH festival". These festivals shows their own delicacies. The SUMAN, MANGGA, KASOY and the HAMAKA. These are really celebrated by the Filipinos since then. This is already a tradition of the Antipolenos.
